Our background
Sikyomu Doctors Hospital is a leading private healthcare institution located in Bulaga, approximately 9 miles along Mityana Road in Wakiso District, Central Uganda. The hospital operates within the legal framework of Uganda and is fully registered and licensed by the relevant regulatory authorities. It is owned and managed by Sikyomu Doctors Limited (Registration No. 80020000474612) and operates under the supervision of qualified and experienced healthcare professionals committed to delivering quality medical services.
From humble beginnings in 2015 as a small four-room healthcare facility, Sikyomu Doctors Hospital has grown into one of Central Uganda's leading private healthcare institutions. Guided by a commitment to clinical excellence, compassionate care, and continuous innovation, the hospital has evolved into a modern multidisciplinary healthcare centre offering comprehensive general, specialist, and super-specialist services to individuals, families, corporate organizations, and communities across Uganda.
Today, Sikyomu Doctors Hospital operates a 50-bed facility supported by highly qualified healthcare professionals, advanced diagnostic technology, and a patient-centred approach to care. Through its dedicated service wings, including the hospital and the Gyn Plaza Fertility and Women's Health Centre, the institution continues to improve health outcomes while delivering safe, affordable, and accessible healthcare.
Sikyomu Doctors Hospital serves a wide catchment population along the Mityana Road corridor and surrounding communities, including Bulaga, Bulenga, Busega, Nankuwadde, Nakabugo, Ssumbwe, Kalambi, Bbira, Buloba, Bujuuko, Buyala, Muduuma, Kasasa, Nabuzinga, Kampala City, Mukono, and neighboring areas around the central region. The hospital has become a trusted referral centre for clinics, medical centres, corporate organizations, and individual patients seeking quality and specialized healthcare services.
Currently serving between 2,500 and 3,000 clients per month, the hospital operates through two major service wings: Sikyomu Doctors Hospital, which houses the general and specialized medical departments, and Gyn Plaza, a dedicated centre for women's health, fertility, and reproductive healthcare services.
